Rumson
Approximately 7,000 residents reside in Rumson. Roughly 7 square miles, Rumson is known for its many sprawling 19th-century estates located along the shores of the Navesink and Shrewsbury rivers. Driving along Rumson Road, which serves as one of Rumson’s main thoroughfares, is a pictureqe treat as you pass vineyards, horse farms and estates.
Thanks to an easy commute to Manhattan, what once was considered a luxury seasonal retreat, is now a year round option for all to enjoy. There are several beach clubs close by in neighboring Sea Bright and Monmouth beach.

Rumson Parks
Victory Park is Rumson’s flagship park. It is located at Lafayette Street and River Road in the heart of town.
Riverside Park is one of the Borough’s busiest parks. Renovated in 2005, Riverside Park has two high quality 46/60 Baseball fields that are used as soccer fields in the fall.
Meadow Ridge is the largest of the Borough parks. Located on Ridge Road, it spans 23 acres and has three fields, a small playground and a popular walking/jogging path.
Rumson Commute
There are New Jersey Transit train stops close by in Little Silver and Red Bank. Many residents choose the ferry, which is faster, and a lovely commute although a bit more expensive. Ferries from the Highlands or Atlantic Highlands, are about a 10-minute drive from Rumson, take 40 minutes to get to Manhattan and travel year-round. Driving to the city takes just over an hour. Bus options are available as well.
